You might have noticed while reading my blog: I always go for natural materials first. So I'm really looking forward to see the new Viktigt collection by Ikea. It was designed by the great Ingegerd Råman, who is used to work with glass and ceramic at her own studio. Also craftsmen from Poland and Indonesia were involved in the manufacturing process. What came out are some beautiful interior pieces and accessories made from water hyacinth, glass, ceramic, bamboo and rattan. My favorite one is the black lounge chair. Maybe I'm going to pick it, a lounge chair is still missing in our living room. Next week on the 6th of May will be the German release date.

At the weekend I bought myself some really beautiful, creamy colored roses and decorated them on our bedside tables. Here is the result.

I immediately fall in love with the new Koti Dash sofa from Hem. Created by one of my favorite design studios Form us with Love. It is available in two different colors  –  if I had to choose charcoal would be my option. The special thing about the Dash version of the Koti sofa is the new cover made of 3-dimensional knitting from pure new wool. This fabric was developed in collaboration with the Dutch company Febrik. Maybe this is going to be our next sofa for the living room.

Hay Can chair

There's a new sofa collection from Hay coming up. It was first presented at the Salon de Mobile in Milan. Devised by the designer brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec – the special thing about the Can furniture is, that it comes to you in a flat package and you can easily mount it. My favorite is the chair, but you should also take a look at the 3- or 2-seater.

Finally laid my hands on the wide tapered trousers from the Uniqlo and Lemaire collaboration. The quality is very great  –  a thick cotton fabric  –  and the fit is as comfy as it looks.
